LOGGERHEADS (Graham Naughton), 10 Seawitch Cres, Cooloola Cove Qld.  ph 07 5486 2201  Good photos of the timber on the web site.  He has a wide range of desert timbers from western Queensland, thicknessed to around 8 to12 mm.  Nice finish on the boards from a sanding thicknesser.  Some beautiful timber and very well prepared and thicknessed.  I use his timber at the seminars and when I am teaching.

DJARILMARI TIMBER PRODUCTS  (Colin Payne) P.O. Box 550  Denmark W.A. 6333  ph 08 9848 2020.  He will cut timber to whatever thickness you want.  Has some beautiful Lace Sheoak and Fiddleback Jarrah.  Not sure if he will thickness it, or just rough sawn.

HERITAGE SAWMILLERS (Terry) Jarradale  W.A.  ph 08 9526 0051 mob 041 7922 248.  They have lots of offcuts suitable for boxmaking, Sheoak, Jarrah and Marri.  Not sure of the thicknesses.

TREND TIMBERS Wide range of Australian and imported cabinet timbers, some of which are available in thin sections.  Some stunning timber.

BEYOND BEADS, 57 Hopkin St, MOONAH, TASMANIA 7009  Ph 03 6278 7177.  They sell chain, jump rings and tag ends suitable for holding the lids on jewellery boxes.  The ones of theirs that I use are are: Chain - FC 479 G,  Oval Jump Rings - BB6 6x4, Tags - gold.  They will send goods mail order.
