Timber Thickness
The only difference between the H10 and the H20 templates is the spacing of the pins.
The only difference between the A10 and the A20 templates is the spacing of the pins.
The only difference between the B10 and the B20 templates is the spacing of the pins.
When purchasing a Gifkins Dovetail Jig, a major consideration is the THICKNESS of the timber you wish to dovetail:
H10 & H20 templates are suitable for any thickness up to 10 mm, and use 1/4" shank cutters
A10 & A20 templates are suitable for any thickness up to 13 mm, and use 1/4" shank cutters.
B10 & B20 templates are suitable for any thickness up to 22 mm, and use 1/2" shank cutters.
F5 templates are suitable for any thickness up to 13 mm, and use 1/4" shank cutters.
