Deliveries All goods are sent registered and insured with Australia Post. These registration and insurance costs are INCLUDED in the Post & Packing costs on the price list. On dispatch, a dispatch confirmation note is emailed giving: Stock & Replacement Parts All parts and fittings are carried in sufficient numbers to ensure immediate despatch of all orders. All parts except the router cutters are made by Gifkins Dovetail on the premises, ensuring prompt attention to maintain stock levels. Stock of all router cutters is held by both Gifkins Dovetail and the manufacturers, Carb-I-Tool. Help Line You can correspond directly with the inventor / manufacturer if you have any queries setting up or using the jig - The method used to maintain the highest accuracy is to test the last item made in each production batch. For example, the templates are produced in batches of 18 on a CNC router. With each batch, the last template to be cut is used to cut a dovetail joint on a standard jig with standard cutters. If this last template is outside the tolerance range then the entire batch is rejected. (so far this has NEVER happened) The standard jig and cutters are put aside for use on this job only, so the templates are always tested in exactly the same conditions. All Gifkins Dovetail Jigs are unconditionally guaranteed against faulty workmanship and materials. |
